Master of Engineering – Software Development
My name is Aykut Ince. I have been working in software development for more than eight years – from the initial idea through implementation to testing.
A particular focus of my work lies in human–machine interfaces in the automotive domain. In the early days of Android Automotive, I helped move the field forward: on the app side by building user interfaces and flows, and in the AOSP environment by shaping system interfaces and services that connect the platform with applications. This combination gives me a deep understanding of architecture, quality and user experience. Java, Kotlin and solid testing practices are part of my daily toolkit.
I take responsibility in large projects, collaborate closely within teams and coordinate across groups. What matters to me is moving things forward reliably, communicating clearly and delivering results people can rely on.
I was also active on the board of a youth association, working on topics such as leadership, society and personal development. Writing is another important part of my life: poems, essays and articles – some of which have been published in magazines – let me express ideas in a different form.
When I’m not coding or writing, I like to travel and capture moments with my camera. Discovering new places and meeting new people keeps me moving – physically and mentally – and broadens my perspective.
